Pain is a signal in your nervous system that something may be wrong. It is an unpleasant feeling such as a tingle, sting, burn or ache. You may even feel pain in one area of your body, such as your back, abdomen, chest, pelvis or you may feel pain all over your body.

Pain can be classified into acute or chronic. Our primary focus in this article is on the acute type of pain.  This type of pain is your body’s way of letting you know you’ve injured yourself or perhaps pushed it too far. It is simply a warning sign telling you to stop, slow down and adjust accordingly.

Acute pain can make it difficult for anyone to concentrate or think properly. Its symptoms can range between; swelling, redness, inflammation, fatigue and numbness.

Due to the fact that acute pain can be brought on by various factors, the potential treatments and management techniques also vary. Some of the ways by which you can manage the pain include;

  • Resting the affected body part. Rest can help speed up the healing process. One of the primary purposes of acute pain is to get us to slow down and let the body rest.
  • Applying ice or heat to the source of pain can help reduce inflammation and swelling. And may just alleviate the pain.
  • Mild exercising can help bring relief by increasing blood flow to the affected area. Caution must be taken not to stress an already injured muscle or joint.
  • Sudrex joint and muscle pain is an all-in-one pain reliever that provides relief for your aching muscles and joint either you’re suffering from arthritis, muscle aches and pain. It will help you get back your body in no time.
